Transitional Justice and Access to Justice
I-WIN works to strengthen access to justice and support transitional justice processes that address the needs of conflict-affected communities, particularly women, survivors of violence, and persons with disabilities. The organization advocates for justice mechanisms that are inclusive, responsive, and centered on the experiences of survivors.
Key interventions include the establishment of Victim Support Groups (VSGs), legal awareness campaigns, community legal empowerment initiatives, survivor documentation, legal aid services, and referral mechanisms. Through partnerships with justice actors and community structures, I-WIN promotes accountability, reconciliation, and healing while ensuring that vulnerable populations have meaningful access to justice and protection of their rights.
